We want to thank all of the credible executives that have
provided us with a wealth of trusted references over the years. It’s been our goal to provide insight and
information to anyone we work with that may be of value and our expansion could
not take place without that network.
When a staff member told me recently that one of their candidates was
close friends of a Sr. Level Executive that would be a person of interest for
our firm, but would only provide contact information for a “piece of the
action” I had to ask…are you sure they are friends?!
When industry executives compromise their professional
integrity and insist on “consulting on the side”, they in turn de-value those
that they refer. When a firm advertises
this is their policy to the community at large, the chances are that their
database is full of candidates looking to make the quick buck and are very likely
job-hoppers. Candidates with integrity
and have a genuine interest in helping a colleague further their career will
invest in looking to have a professional relationship with a search firm, not
one where they can get rich quick!
